Walker, Anna Mae, age 90 passed away on Monday, February 22, 2010 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was a member of Magnolia Ave. United Methodist Church for 65 years. Anna was preceded in death by her one and only sweetheart of 57 years, husband Donald Walker. Also preceded by her parents, Frank and Nora Naill, her in-laws, Hugh and Effie Walker, sister Marie Spradlin, brothers; John and Henry Naill and son-in-law, L.R. Beeler, Jr. Mrs. Walker is survived by her children: Carolyn Patterson of Halls, Bill and Joyce Walker of Lenoir City, and Donna Beeler of Corryton. Eleven (11) grandchildren: Larry Patterson, Marcee Grayson Matthews and husband Greg, Donald Rhea Patterson and his wife Jill, Steven Patterson, Bill and Stacie Walker of Trussville, Ala., David and Kathy Walker of Raleigh, NC., Glenda Roberts of Lenoir City, Tommy and Nichole Walker of Lenoir City, Greg and Tina Beeler , Jeff Beeler, Brian and Regina Beeler, all of Corryton. Twenty-three (23) great- grandchildren.
Also survived by sister, Mary Spradlin of Knoxville, and brother-in-law & sister-in-law , Kenneth and Betty Walker. Several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Gentry-Griffey Funeral Home with Rev. Van Sanks and Dr. Walter Willis officiating. The grandsons will serve as Pallbearers. The interment will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 25, 2010 in Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Family and friends are asked to gather at 1:45 p.m. for the 2:00 p.m. graveside service.
