William Edward Glenn, Jr., age 69, passed away on April 11, 2014 in Knoxville. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a very spiritual person, who enjoyed traveling, and was an avid golfer. He was a veteran of the U.S. ARMY, serving in the 101st Airborne, and retired as general foreman for Norfolk Southern Railroad after 33 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Blanche Glenn; son, William "Billy" Edward Glenn III; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lela (Richard) Warner, and Doris (Denzel) Ratts. He is survived and will be greatly missed by his wife of 34 years, Charmaine "Cheri" Glenn; children, Kelly (Michael) Geasland, Karen (Stephen) Bennett, and Kevin Glenn; grandchildren, Silas Geasland, Kelsi Saylor, Braelynn Glenn, Jonah Geasland; brother, Bruce Glenn; sister, Hazel (Kenneth) Boswell; and beloved dog, Muffin. A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 18th, at Westside Community United Methodist Church, 2875 US Hwy 127, Hustonville, KY 40437.
