In loving memory of

John J. Touseull
October 10, 1930 - March 28, 2015

John J. Touseull, age 84, went to his heavenly home on March 28, 2015 at University of Tennessee Medical Center. He was a great witness for Jesus, a caring husband, wonderful father and example to his children, grandchildren, and great-children, and a great friend to all. After the Lord and his family, John loved horses black licorice, and "checks with lots of zeros". Mountain View Church of God was his church family and a huge part of his life here on earth. He was a 15-year resident of East Tennessee after retiring from Long Island, New York. John was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Elizabeth Touseull, and sisters, Helen Schact and Elizabeth Buttner. He is survived and will be forever missed by his devoted wife of 62 years, Ruby; sons, John, Raymond and wife Donna, Richard and wife Helena, Joseph; daughters, Brenda Prater and husband Terry, Pamela Touseull and fiancé Claude, Patricia Lee and husband Jim; seven cherished grandchildren and eight precious great-grandchildren; three brothers, one sister; and a host of extended family he was proud to be a part of. The family will receive friends at Gentry Griffey Funeral Chapel on Monday, March 30th from 6-8 pm. The service will follow at 8 pm, with Pastor Louis Beeler officiating. Gentry Griffey Funeral Chapel is honored to serve the family, and invites you to view and sign the guestbook below.
