July 12, 1944 - January 28, 2020

Joyce Barker Parton age 75 of Heiskell, TN passed away on January 28, 2020 at Patriot Hills Assisted Living. She was born in Knoxville, TN on July 12, 1944 to Jane and Hugh Barker. Joyce graduated from Knoxville Business College with an Associate of Arts Degree and was the office manager at DOR Anesthesiology at Parkwest. She enjoyed spending time with Geneaology, scrap booking, gardening and playing Rummy with family.

She is survived by her children, Cindy Lange, Scott (Windy) Parton, Jimmy (Donna) Parton, John Parton; 9 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; siblings, Alvin Barker and Linda Anderson.

A graveside service will be held 3:00pm on Friday, February 14th at Greenwood Cemetery with Jeff Sledge officiating. Gentry Griffey Funeral Chapel is honored to serve the Parton family and invites you to view and sign the online registry below.

"So sorry to hear about your mommma. I remember her whwn my parents helped her mom Jane at the Country Music Barn. My most prominent memory was her talking me on 'erras' so I wouldn't know about my surprise birthday party. She kept stopping at Weigles to call my parents or Jane to see if they were ready for me."
