"My dear loving cousin!! Thank you so much for your love and your story and your taking the time to do a beautiful post. We have come from a family of great heritage and traditions Love you?"
Marie Moses Craft passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 8, 2020 in Knoxville, TN. She was born May 4, 1930 in Hillsboro, Ohio and graduated from Hillsboro High School. As a young woman she proudly loved her jobs at the Five and Dime Store in Hillsboro and then in Dayton, OH at the Lerners Department Store. Part of the family moved to Idaho in 1977 and there she continued to care for her invalid mother until her passing. She was employed with the University of Idaho where she taught her clients the art of canning, baking and couponing. One of her greatest joys in Idaho was volunteering to help the elderly. After moving to Knoxville in 1990, she delivered Meals on Wheels, making special desserts, checking on the elderly regularly along with sending them postcards when traveling. She truly became their friends. Her hobbies through the years were playing pool, bowling, dancing, bicycling, caring for pets, reading, blue ribbon winning baking and all kinds of card playing especially Bridge. She loved to walk around the Fountain City Lake and feed the ducks.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years Mid Millard Dean Craft, her daughters; Rita Ann Caldwell, Tina Marie Bisbee Cripe, Rosemary Hinton (Kenneth); son, Venson Jacob Craft (Marcia); stepchildren; Robert Dean Craft, Teri Lynn Bacus (Harland) and Trudi Lee Craft. She enjoyed her 3 grandchildren, Jasah Marie Cripe, Michael Aaron Caldwell and Zachary Jacob Craft. She was the youngest of 4 children born to Joseph and Lulu Moses and preceded in death by her siblings; Rosemary McHarg (Jack), Joseph Moses (Betty) and Sara Rita Coldiron (Jim). She also leaves behind several adoring and loving nieces and nephews.
She married Byron Wayne Bisbee in Dayton, Ohio and gave birth to 3 beautiful daughters and was widowed after 12 years. Later her marriage to Mid Craft gave her the joy of the birth of her only son. With her increasing health limitations, he lovingly and attentively cared for her needs.
Marie was a member of the Halls Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Her family and friends await the time of their reunion when Jesus resurrects her to a Paradise Earth to live forever as the Bible promises. Psalms 37:29 and John 5:28, 29.
