Evelyn G. Egolf, age 79, of Columbia City, IN, passed away at 3:45 pm on Friday February 28, 2020 at her residence. Born on February 15, 1941 in Madison, IN , she was the daughter of Roy and Zelphia (Parson) Odgen.
Evelyn attended local schools and graduated from Columbia City Joint High School with the Class of 1959. She worked for many years as a switchboard operator at United Telephone Company.
Evelyn was a member of the South Whitley Jaycees, Whitley County Junior Miss and Christmas Bureau, and Abate Motorcycle Group. She enjoyed her grandchildren, camping, cooking, baking, and watching Survivor and the Bachelor on television.
Survivors include her son, Tracy (Renee) Egolf of Larwill; grandchildren, Brandi (Josh) Duncan, Tara (Branch Wilkinson) Schuman, Brandon Egolf, and Damon Brown; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Carson, Wylo, Bentley, Madaya, Dylan, and Grady.
She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Robert Egolf, second husband Terry Pritchard, daughter Tressa Lynn Clark, and several siblings.
In accordance with the wishes of Evelyn there will be no calling or services at this time.
Arrangements by DeMoney-Grimes Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City.
Memorial contributions in memory of Evelyn may be made to her final expenses.
