"Lee and JanetMy heart goes out to you at this moment as I try to imagine the hurt and loss you are feeling. Losing the son you brought into the world nurtured and loved and dreamed of all the possibilities the future would hold for him. This has to be an incredibly difficult thing to deal with. I can hardly even think about it...I know it doesn't seem fair but God has his plan everything happens for a reason (we just won't know what it was until we can ask him in person)Until then I pray you will find comfort in the love and support of your family in your faith and in each other."

"WOW!!! What a kid! It's people like Drew who remind me so much to remember the great words of Abraham Lincoln It's not the years in the life but the LIFE in the years. Drew lived more of life in his ever to short of years on earth than so many of us will ever live in our days. No one laughed more had more fun or brought such enjoyment to others as Drew did. In fact he was a Prince to our little girl Grace who still does not understand that he is no longer with us on earth. Maybe it's the little ones who have it right!!! In her mind he is still going to take her to the ball and prom maybe instead of as a date as an angel! Though Drew's body is no longer with us it is his great spirit of life and love for laughter that each one of use who knew Drew can be ever thankful for and continue to enjoy!! May such memories bring comfort to all! With love- THE STARRS"

"Drew was a remarkable young man that lived life with tremendous joy. His love of life and powerful energy was a delight for those of us when we were together. Christmas was always special; we remembered when Drew was about seven years old and found gifts that were underneath the bed. Hidden of course but he found them and was so happy he found them and knew what was in them as he proudly told us. His smile and light in his eyes will always be in our heart. Someday we will meet again....and it will be true joy."

I can look at our fields and know that Drew had taken part in our success. We will miss seeing him. I never got to say thanks to him for all the time he spent with Jake. Jake loved to ride with Drew and talk farm. I look at Jake's farm toys set up and know he got a lot of ideas from Drew. I always heard well Drew said... Drew always had time for Jake.
