Valdez, Martha of Phoenix, Arizona passed away December 8, 2011 at the age of 77. She is survived by her loving husband Al Valdez, brothers Gene Gallardo, Johnny Gallardo, sisters Margie Gallardo, Angie Martinez, Dorothy Soto, Lola Cornell, daughters Tess Eleeson, Eva Valdez, sons Al Valdez, Val Valdez, grandchildren Andrew McKinley, Jessica Van Deventer, Chris Gillis, Sam Johnson, Naiis Baker, Josh Johnson, Charity Fonoimoana, Jillena Valdez and 14 great grandchildren. Martha will be deeply missed. Memorial services will be held at 1pm on Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at Hansen Mortuary, 8314 N. 7th St., Phoenix, Arizona. In lieu of flowers the family is asking donations be made to Hospice of the Valley for all their help.
