"Brilliant observer with understated droll humor, loved by my children, Jenna and Abigail. Fully embraced and admired by Carolyn and Ken, grandmother Fran, and families. Thank you, Matt, for a wonderful 2008, New Year’s Eve, spent in a fondue hut high on a Colorado mountain. Your amazing stories regaled young and old and you were the very heart of our gathering. These are memories which will remain. You made people feel less lonely with a good heart and light touch and we are diminished with your loss. May we renew our sense of community as we gather to celebrate your life. Love to you and all your loved ones, Margaret"
