"We will miss you Aunt Charlotte. You have been a part of my life since the beginning. Even as kids, we could always anticipate coming to see you and Uncle Johnny at the house on Las Palmeritas and the fun we had there. The love you and Uncle Johnny showed us over the years help make us who we are today and the examples you showed your kids, grandkids, nieces and nephews made them all better persons. We will all miss you."

"Charlotte will be greatly misssed by many. I am so grateful I was part of her life as she welcomed into her family as if I was one of her own. I will treasure all the times spent with both Aunt Charlotte and Uncle Johnny. I know in my heart Charlotte yearned to join her husband of 64 years and they loved each other unconditionally and this is what true love is all about. I will not say goodbye but until we see each again. Please say hi to my Mom and Chloe when you see them. Debbie"

"Charlotte was my Grandma Dorthy’s Hortt’s bestfriend and was like an aunt to all of her children and grandchildren. Her and John didn’t hesitate to welcome me to thier home in Prescott when I moved here in 1994. They were like family and helped me transition into adulthood. I know my whole family has fond memories of the 4th of July in Prescott with John, Charlotte, Little John and Sally. My thoughts and love are with you all."

"Aunt Charlotte and Uncle John both were a very caring. They always wanted the best for me and I loved them both a great deal. I lived with them off and on for sereral years. They treated me like I was their daughter. I had a lot of fun with Aunt Charlotte, we used to play black jack together and go to different places to eat. If I needed someone to talk to she was always available to listen and to gave good advise without judging. I love her very much and will miss her. I know she is with God now and not in pain any more. Love, Mary Lea"
