"I just heard of Mike\'s passing today and am still in shock. Mike was a friend and mentor to me. I had lunch with him two years ago and just got his number this summer from Jackson so we could meet up again... And just hadn\'t got to calling yet. When I started at Sunline it was quite intimidating to work with the legendary Mike Flore, but he made the transition from the bush league in South Dakota to Phoenix not so bad. It was always fun banter to decide who had to be the \"boss\" for the day; just another example of what a humble and good man he was. When I decided to go back to school I bugged him to sell me his 1983 GTI that was siting in his back yard. When he finally said yes he helped me wrench on it all day and would not take any money but just gave it to me. He will be missed. I don\'t know you, but may God bless his family. At a loss, Joel Dickinson"
"Our deepest sympathies go out to the whole Family, Norma, Linda, Karen, Janet and all. This is such a shocking and tragic loss. Mike was one of my oldest and best friends since I moved here to Fargo, he has also been an extremely close friend to me and our family. We will miss him so much it can\'t even be put into words. Christmas\'s will never be quite the same again without him. One of the kindest, real, caring and loyal friends a person could ever ask for. We are truly blessed to have been able to have been a part of and to have shared in his life in both work and play. I know one day we will all be together again. Until that moment you will be greatly missed by us and everyone you ever came in contact with. God Rest your Soul...and save me a seat beside you. All our love and condolences go out to you All our Love Jackson & Renee"
"Just another Fargo, North Dakota friend, who is celebrating Michael\'s earthly life. He will always be in my heart as a kind, generous, mellow, fun-loving friend. I am so fortunate to have known him. \'Til we meet again...... May joyful memories warm the Flore family through this difficult time. God Bless."
"Heartfelt sympathie to the whole Flore family. You are all in my thoughts and prayers."
"When I think of Michael I have to smile. I\'ve known him as long as I can remember, living a few doors away in 2 neighborhoods In Fargo, and being one of Linda\'s best friends. We had fun when we were little playing mermaids, always at the Flore\'s house, the girls against the boys, snake bites and all. Some of the guys could get mean, but not Michael. And then when we were in high school he let us go skiing with him and his friends. I\'m sure we were not the perfect car mates, but I don\'t remember him ever getting mad at us, and even after a long day with us we went to Shakey\'s Pizza when we got back to Fargo. And Michael was such a good skier. He made it look effortless. I can\'t believe I have lived in Scottsdale all these years and never contacted him, but even so, I will miss him."
"My condolences to the Flore family. Peace my brother. God Bless. Ted Moser"
"My thoughts and prayers to all of you at this time of your loss. I hadn\'t seen Mike in many years, but I have memories of summers spent at the lake in Minnesota and how all the cousins looked up to Mike. Hugs to all of you."
"Mike was a very special part of our family. Growing up he was very fun-loving yet somewhat shy! As an adult he was a very gentle, kind, caring person. Though we didn\'t see him often we knew he was available if we had need of him. He will be missed by the entire Coats family. Rest in peace, Mike. Big hugs to the family. We love all of you!"
"My condolences to the Flore family! Mike was a great friend and an even greater person. He will be missed terribly! I remember hanging out at the Flore household regularly and miss seeing your family. May Mike rest in peace and hope that your family finds comfort!"
"Farewell my friend, as you have completed you life\'s journey. I am truly honored to be able to have known you and been able to have called you a friend. You were much more than a friend; you were a roommate, coworker, skiing pal, astroid destroyer and confidant. You were one of the most honest people I have known; you had high standards and you would never let anyone compromise your ethics. You will be truly missed. Farewell my friend, farewell!"
