Wanda Boatwright
Wanda Belle Boatwright, 82, of Phoenix, Arizona, died Thursday May 22, 2014 at Christian Care Nursing Center. Wanda was born in Tuolumne, California January 2, 1932 to William and Myrtle Conner. She grew up in the oil fields of west Texas; traveling the country most of her life and worked many years in various occupations. The one she was most loved and treasured for was being a wonderful wife, mother, sister and grandmother. She was a talented artist and loved to sing, dance and go out with family and friends. She was a wonderful blessing to everyone around her and will be greatly missed. She married John Boatwright and became an Air Force wife on April 24, 1954 in Clovis, New Mexico. They had 59 adventurous years together traveling all over the world. She is survived by her four children, Val Patterson, Robin Barnhart, John Michael Boatwright and Jennifer Rogers; brothers Robert Conner and William Conner; 12 grandchildren & 5 great-grandchildren. Services were held Wednesday, May 27, 2014 with interment at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
