"Don and Shirley, My sincerest thoughts are with you and your family during this time of your loss and grief. Bob was such an inspiration to others during his life and always, always made a life experience around him an interesting and fun time while building a positive light in the community for others to enjoy. Bob helped others grow and gave a gift of selflessness and a sense of how to make the world a better place for others in his time here with us. I will remember Bob best as the most intelligent and gifted Chemical Engineer that I\'ve spent my time with in the beginning of my career. Bob always had a gift of sight in work, and, more importantly, in life, that he shared constantly while creating a fun professional environment. He always wanted to do more for others. We were always much the same in character, personality, and interests. I have few friends that I have enjoyed my time with equally to my time spent with Bob in the past 25 years. There was not anyone that did more for me in life at the start of my professional career than Bob. I just called to catch up today and spoke with Shirley of his passing. I will most miss just talking to Bob. He was a passionate and considerate soul that was just a great guy to do anything with. He could be a best friend, a father figure, a mentor, along with an inspiration and model Chemical Engineer to us all. He will be missed until we all rejoin again. My best to you and yours. I can\'t describe the loss I feel at this time; expecting to see Bob and the family around for the next 30 years here in Phoenix. How time does pass us by. God Bless us all. Please feel free to contact me at any time if ever there is anything I can do to help your family. Sincerest Thoughts and Prayers to you all, Shawn (520) 867-1677"
