In loving memory of

Chad Sheirbon

Chad William Sheirbon, 45, of Phoenix, AZ died Monday, January 26, 2015.  He was born in Portland, Oregon, spent many years in Colorado and settled in Arizona.  Chad had a contagious enthusiasm for the things he loved to do and was an avid mountain biker and skier.  But above all he loved parenting his three little ones and all that it entailed.  Chad is survived by his wife Erin (McGuinness), his children Jack, Kate and Nora, his brother Jered and his wife Stacy, his mother Sally, numerous nieces and nephews, and in-laws.  He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.  A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 7, with a 2 pm gathering and a 4 pm service at Hansen Desert Hills Chapel, 6500 E. Bell Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85254.  In lieu of flowers, a scholarship account has been set up for his children, donations can be made to Jack, Kate, and Nora Sheirbon.

"I\'m in absolute shock!!! Chad and I hung out during my sophomore year in high school, his senior year. I was in awe of his basketball skills. He was always so sweet, had the most beautiful eyes and smile. I reconnected with him on facebook and was so happy to see he had a family with a wife and children. Wow!!! The world lost a great guy on January 26, 2015. Sad, sad, sad!!"

"I met Chad a few years ago when our kids attended preschool. My youngest was in the same class as Chad and Erins\' daughters so I saw Chad regularly when it was time to pick them up. Their whole family would come to class parties and celebrations so I also had the chance to meet Jack and Erin. It has been awhile since then, but I always remember them as such a lovely family and it just breaks my heart to hear that their Daddy/ husband is gone. So sorry for your loss....My husband, who is a fellow mountain biker, will be in attendance at the service on Saturday. Chad will be greatly missed, and we\'ll be sending prayers and strength to get through this difficult time. Sincerely, Karen Broaderip"

"Chad will be missed immensely by so many. He touched so many lives in such a humble, unassuming way. He is one of the best Dad\'s I have ever seen. I will always remember him setting up the \"children at play\" signs and opening up shop for the kids to play morning till night. We knew if the garage door was open, just to go outside and there would be a kids paradise. He knew what mattered and poured himself into it. His selfless contribution to his family will continue to live on in the lives of your sweet children. There is no greater job. We are blessed to have known him, and your family, over these past 10 years. Thank you and deepest condolences."

"Our heartfelt sympathies to you, Erin, and your lovely family. Chad was such a great guy to chat with here in the neighborhood. He always had a quick smile and welcomed a visit ... and you could see the absolute joy he felt in being a Dad when he was outside with the children. Please don\'t hesitate to call on us if we can be of any help and you move forward. You will remain in our hearts and prayers, Al and Jean"
