Judith Hart

Judith Ann Hart, of Scottsdale, AZ, died peacefully, surrounded by her family, on July 12, 2015 of lymphoma. She was 72. Judy was born on January 3, 1943 the daughter of Herman and Leah (nee Cohen) Klein in Utica, NY. After moving to Manhattan, she met Richard Hart and they were married in Saint John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, Pocasset, Cape Cod, MA, on September 2, 1968. Together they raised four children, Kathleen, Richard, Eileen and Joanne, first in Syosset and then in Muttontown, Long Island, NY. Above all, Judy loved being a mother and devoted her life to raising her children and caring for her grandchildren. Judy is survived by her husband Richard, her four children and their spouses Eric BarrĂ³n, Heidi Hart, Pamela St. Pierre and Michael Hertel, her brother and sister-in-law Jerome and Barbara Klein, and her nine grandchildren, Jonah, Camille, Lucas, Danny, Micah, Josephine, Ted, Zechariah, and Summer. A Celebration of Life / Mass of Resurrection will be held at Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church at 11300 N. 64th Street in Scottsdale at 11:00a.m. on July 29th, 2015, and all are welcome to join the family thereafter for a reception in the church social hall. Memorial donations may be made in Judy's name to Blessed Sacrament Church - Fr. Tom Walsh Memorial Statue and, or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.

"Judy was indeed a wonderful aunt to me when I was little and to both of us even before when we were married -- Judy described Paul to a Christmas tree salesman in Syosett as \'possible future nephew-in-law\" -- he did become a real nephew-in-law and loved Judy as well.
