Deborah Jean Worsley

Deborah Jean Worsley Girard,age 66, of Phoenix, AZ, died Thursday July 28, 2016 at her residence in Phoenix, AZ. Deborah was born in Flint, MI and moved to Arizona in 1981. She graduated from Holy Redeemer in Flint, MI and attended college at Ferris State University where she received her Associates Degree in Court Reporting. She was a Court Reporter in Michigan and Arizona for over 40 years and was the owner of Worsley Court Reporting, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and sister and spent her summers back in Michigan. She loved being on the water, camping, spending time with her husband and grandkids and very large family in Michigan including several nieces and nephews. She is survived by her husband Robert Girard, mother Ellen Worsley of Davidson, MI, her daughters Amy McInnis and Abigail McInnis both of Phoenix, AZ, and stepson Andrew Girard (Namay) of Mammoth Lakes, CA, six grandchildren, Christopher and Alexandria McInnis Sadova of Prescott, AZ, Nickolas McInnis McPeek, Nathan McInnis and Ava Orner all of Phoenix, AZ and Maxwell Girard of Mammoth Lakes, CA and one great-grandchild, Riley McInnis of Camp Verde, AZ. Deborah is also survived by her three sisters Donna Worsley of Davidson, MI, Sally (Jim) Pomeroy of Clio, MI, and Sandra (Jerome) Gill of Millington, MI, and sisters-in-law, Susan Worsley of Grand Blanc, MI, Linda (Peter) Lorch of Flushing, MI, and Brenda (Arthur) Parnell of Fenton, MI, extended family that loved her dearly, as well as many friends both far and near. Deborah was preceded in death by her daughter Marcie McInnis Mitchem, her brother Mark Worsley and her father Leonard Worsley. Visitation will be held for family 4-5pm and regular visitation from 5pm-8pm on Wednesday, August 3, 2016, Hansen Desert Hills Chapel, 6500 E. Bell Rd., Scottsdale, AZ. Visitation will be from 12pm to 2pm with a funeral service at 2pm, Thursday, August 4, 2016 with Father Gary McInnis officiating. Deb was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
