"My Dearest Cousin Giovanni, Enza, and Michael, and family, Brian and I were just sitting here talking about you and Cira wondering how you both were doing. I especially thought of Cira this year on her birthday March 2nd and remembeted all the special times we shared together at your restaurant; it was for a good time like a second home when we would stay late and talk, and Cira would give me Italian lessons. We are devastated and sadden. I thank Our Dear Lord for our time with you all, We will keep your pictures we shared when family came close in love and memory, and we keep Cira on our prayers now and always. With much love, Toni & Brian"

Rosemary Ghirardi wrote on Jan 1, 2017:

"Giovanni, Enza, & Michael, I was so sad to hear about Cira. I am the one who always ordered your veal picatta & sat in the front by myself. Cira had hired my son Joseph Ghirardi as a waiter about 30 years ago. Cira and I would chat about Italy, our kids, our health, and the world while she put the utensils in the napkins, only stopping to greet customers or make the espresso. She was liked and admired by everyone. I am so sorry for your loss. Giovanni, you are in my prayers."
