"Iver was my Bank Manager in Ukiah, Ca. I was one of his lending officers. Each morning before going to his desk, he talked to each of his employees discussing things as to their health, their children, their activities, etc. He truly cared about the people with whom he worked. Yes, we shared humor at our morning coffee break before the bank opened. I could always go to Iver with a problem to be solved and sometimes it was the other way around. He came to me with a problem looking for a solution. Iver was one of the few people I held in high esteem over my working years. He was a good friend and a great boss. Just so you know what you thought all along, Iver was one of those special people who rarely come into our lives. He will be missed, but I have great memories of working with him in the early 1970's. May your hearts heal with the blessings of our Lord."

"My big brother Iver was the nicest and sweetest man, like his father. I will miss his daily devotions he sent me everyday and I loved being in touch with him daily on the internet. His jokes always made me laugh and no one could tell jokes like Iver and his brother Rollie. My heart aches but I know he is in heaven with his wonderful wife that he missed so much. Love to Lynne, Romaree, and Jeff."
