In loving memory of

Karen Lynn Haberle

Karen Lynn Haberle of Beaverton, OR passed away suddenly on January 17th in Scottsdale, AZ. She was married to the love of her life and husband of 33 years, Edward. She was a loving and dedicated mother to her two boys, Hayden and Evan Haberle.

She grew up in Dormont, PA with her siblings: Lori, Lora, Mark, and the late Gregory and Robert. She was best pals with her father-in-law, Edmund Haberle. Karen was loving, talented, unique, determined and strong-willed. She enjoyed helping others regardless of the time or place and would stop at nothing for her family or friends. Karen enjoyed traveling, particularly to Italy, Arizona, and Daufuskie Island in South Carolina.

She loved watching Evan's baseball games and Hayden's fencing matches, and she happily attended all of their events. She deeply loved her boys and raised them to be outstanding young men in the community. Karen was passionate about nature and animals, especially her three dogs Babsie, Bambie, and Brandie. She even created an animal safety law that prevented the harm of animals in the state of Oregon.

Friends and family will be received at the beautiful Mission Church on the campus of Santa Clara University on February 9th at 2:00 pm. Memorial donations can be made to Santa Clara Athletics 500 El Camino Real Santa Clara, CA 95053 or Point Park University Haberle Athletic Scholarship Fund 201 Wood St. Pittsburgh, PA 15222.
