Marie Hamilton was born to John and Stella Berich on December 23, 1928, in Denver, Colorado. She went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, August 27, 2018.
Marie grew up in the Washington Park neighborhood and graduated from South High School where she met Roy O'Donnell. Marie and Roy married and raised their four children in Littleton, Colorado, in the town of Bow Mar.
Marie was a natural athlete and became an avid tennis player. She spent hours on the court playing with her friends and would often arrange fun, family tennis activities. Later in life she married David Hamilton and they enjoyed the game of golf together. She improved her game by taking lessons and spending time on the greens with her most cherished family and friends. She and David started the Bow Mar Bible Study, which continues to this day.
Marie spent her winter months in Arizona and summered in Colorado, which gave her the opportunity to spend time with family in both states.
Mom's legacy continues through her children, Dan (Pam), Kristi (Russ), Kim (Jeff) and Roy lll. She was lovingly called Gigi by her 6 grandchildren, Brian, DJ, Chad, Travis, Lauren and Kelly. And, by her 8 great grandchildren, Tomas, Kadin and Vivian, Baker and Taylor, Hannah Grace and Andrew and her new great grand, Antonella. She is also survived by her siblings Dan, Bette and Lovey.
Mom captured the hearts of others with her love and kindness and she lit up any room she entered with her beautiful smile!
Mom has blessed our lives and we are thankful for the legacy of love she has passed on to us.
A celebration her life will be held on Friday, September 21st at 10:30am at Mission Hills Church
620 Southpark Dr, Littleton, CO 80120.
A Reception will follow at the church.

"Today, I learned that your family is mourning the loss of your beloved GiGi. Please accept my condolences and be assured that almighty God is certainly aware of your painful feelings. May God comfort and sustain you to get through this day and others to come (Isa 41:13). Wishing your family all the best at this most difficult period."

"Your Mom, your GiGi, my Aunt Marie was a vibrant woman who lived her life fully. My memories of Marie go back to our earlier days in BowMar when we were kids and our parents had dinners together with all the cousins. Marie was a wonderful aunt. I was in awe of her beauty and easy laugh. She left her mark on the world. We lost touch in later years, but I can tell that she was loved by all and blessed to have her kids close."
