Glendale - Bart J. Calabrese, 88, passed away January 21, 2019. Born in Chicago, IL to Henry and Anna Calabrese. Served in the Marines during the Korean War. Worked at Honeywell, Arlington Heights, IL. Retired and moved to Phoenix with his wife (Karen). Worked at the Legends Golf Course, Glendale, AZ.
Bart loved golf and the track, but mostly he loved being with family and friends. Bart will be remembered for his friendly personality and generous heart.
Beloved brother to the late John (Nancy) Calabrese. He is survived by his wife Karen Calabrese; sister Fran (Joseph(d.) ) Pisauro; three children Michael Calabrese (Lisa), Michele Ruane (Dr. Tom) and Marty Calabrese (Rachel); eleven grandchildren Matthew (Stacy), Lindsay (JR), Dominic, Diana, Gina (Adam), Joe (Sandy), Dan (TJ), Christy (Bree), Scott (Julianna), Micaela and McKenna; nine great-grandchildren KiaLynn, Jack Michael, Cole Bart, Isla, Luna, Clementine, Emilia, Abigail, Lillian; and a multitude of extended family and friends he loved dearly.
Celebration of Life: Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at 2:00pm at CCV- Christ's Church of the Valley, (67th Ave and Happy Valley Rd), Peoria.
