Irvin Charles Bennett, passed away on April 13th 2019 at his home surrounded by his love ones in Peoria, Arizona. He was the husband of Ina Marie Bennett. They shared 56 years of marriage together. Irvin was born in Fort Defiance, Arizona on February 21st 1940. He was the son of Wilfred and Mary Bennett. He graduated from high school at Ashfork High. He was employed at Bureau of Indian Affairs, as a job developer for Native Americans. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church. He enjoyed golfing, watching sports, supporting his daughters and grandchildren at all of their sporting events and spending time with his family. He will be remembered for his kindness, loving, giving and caring ways. He had the most beautiful and warm smile. He touched a lot of lives and took many children into his home to love and support. He had a cute sense of humor and loved his family very much. He is survived by his wife Ina, his four beautiful daughters: Chris (Butch), Carrie (Nathan), Marian (Mike), Shelly (Josh). He has nine amazing grandchildren: James "JT" (Kara), Tyler (Hallie), Tyger, Jessica (Raymond), Jacob (Kerry), Sera, Braylon, Cade, Jaxon, one great-grandchild, Hope as well as his cats Simba, Baby Grace and Cody. He is also survived by his two sisters, Irma (John), Sandra (Ernie) and many nieces, nephews and special friends. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 4th at 11:00 a.m. at Hansen Desert Hills Mortuary 6500 East Bell Road Scottsdale, Arizona 85254. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Hospice of the Valley 1510 East Flower Street Phoenix, Arizona 85014.
