"I am so sad to hear of Leslie's passing. She always made sure your entire family was my "second family" and I cherish the memories of the birthday celebrations, dance recitals, school functions and accomplishments, marriages, births, and the oh so many meals I shared with all of you. There were times Leslie worried as much about me as she did all of you and was always there to give me advice and encouragement. I am so glad I was able to visit with her a couple of years ago when I was in Phoenix for a visit, along with Dana and Shelby. And Travis and Mikol, we talked about you two also!!! The true test of a friendship is when you can pick right up as if you've never been apart, and I was always able to do that with Leslie. Now I know there was a reason she was on my mind last week. Although I am unable to be there in person; my love, thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this very difficult time."
