Anthony J. Lamacchia

Anthony James LaMacchia, 72, passed away on December 6, 2019 surrounded by his family.  He was born on September 22, 1947 in Spadafora, Sicily.  He is pre-deceased by his parents, Antonio and Giuseppa LaMacchia.  He is survived by his wife Rita LaMacchia, two sons, Anthony (Kori) LaMacchia and Vincent (Kara) LaMacchia, four grandchildren, Anthony, Vincent, Robert and Gabriella, many nieces and nephews, brothers-in law and sisters in-law, and three sisters.  He had a deep love of life and family, enjoyed traveling, touring churches and cathedrals and spending time with his grandchildren.  He will be dearly missed.  A rosary will take place at 10:00 am, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 am, on Friday, December 13, 2019 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 3801 E. Greenway Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85032.  A private entombment will take place at Desert Hills Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society and Hospice of the Valley.
