A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at the Renwick Baptist Church. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 AM on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at the Renwick Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Renwick Baptist Church and Dayton Oaks Camp and Conference Center.

Glen Earl Martin, age 82, of rural Goldfield, Iowa, died peacefully on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at Humboldt North Care Center. He was born July 7, 1937 to Glen F. and Ellen (McCormick) Martin. Glen graduated from Renwick Independent High School in 1955. He attended Sioux Falls College and Iowa State. On March 2, 1958 Glen was united in marriage to Mary Ann Sollenberger. They farmed east of Renwick for 27 years.

Glen was a life-time member of the Renwick Baptist Church. He served as a church school teacher, church school superintendent, moderator and deacon. Glen was a volunteer on Dayton Oaks Camp site committee. For over 25 years he served as a 4-H club leader. Glen was a charter member of the Iowa Cattlemen's Association and a member of the Wright County Pork Producers. He enjoyed gardening, woodworking, music, and reading.

Glen is survived by his wife Mary Ann; sons Douglas (Therese), Gary (Brenda), and Michael (Amy). Grandchildren, Elizabeth (Cory), Sara (Jake), Andrew (Mariah), Samantha, Lylah, Glen "Nico", Charity, and Boone; one great-grandchild Clare; and sister Janet (Ray). He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Carl, Donald, and Ruth.
