Dina Hernandez Vargas, 87, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 8, 2020. Having lived a full and meaningful life, she is now at rest with the Lord. Dina was born in Lockhart, TX on Friday, November 4, 1932.
Dina was preceded in death by her husband, Teodoro Vargas. She is survived by six daughters, Elizabeth Vargas and her partner Sean Walker, Deborah Hutchinson and her husband Scott, Lydia Vargas, Diann Cleland and her husband Chris, Eloise Lucas and her husband Jason, Angelique Vesey and her husband John; one son, Raymond Vargas and his wife Sondra; 16 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
A viewing will be held on Sunday evening, March 15, 2020 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Distinctive Life Funeral Home, 5455 Dashwood Street, Suite 700, Bellaire, TX 77401. Funeral services will be held Monday morning, March 16, 2020 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of the Memorial Mission Mausoleum at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77077.
