MaryAnn, 80, of Peoria, AZ passed away peacefully on April 18, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. MaryAnn was born and raised in Marlborough, MA daughter of the late James H. Clancy and Esther M. Coyne. She was a graduate of St. Michael's Academy in Hudson, MA. She was predeceased by the "love of her life" Larry Killilea, with whom she shared 33 wonderful years. She is survived by her daughters Sally M. Johnson of West Boylston, MA, Kathleen A. Bertenshaw and her husband Pete, Eileen A. Heaton and her fiance Jerry, both of Phoenix, AZ; her brother Edward Clancy (Barbara) of Marlborough, MA. The "light of her life" were her grandchildren: Noelle, Andrew, Lauren, Ashley, Katelyn and Jaclyn; and her five great-grandchildren. MaryAnn raised her family in both MA and VA and has made her home in Arizona for the past 24 years. MaryAnn selflessly devoted her entire life to being a loving wife, mother and Nana. What brought her the greatest joy was celebrating in all the successes of her grandchildren by cheering on every sporting event, milestone, and dance showcase. Because she was such a familiar face amongst the dance families, she was affectionately known as "Dancing Nana." MaryAnn was an avid Patriots and Notre Dame fan. She was an exceptional seamstress and gardener. Calling hours from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Hansen Mortuary, 8314 N. 7th St, Phoenix 85020. "To Kathy and Eileen and all of Mary Ann's family we extend our deepest condolences at this most trying of times. Mary Ann was a special person and one we were glad to call a friend.
Living across from you on Marlton Drive is something we have never forgotten and we talk about those days often.
Be assured that Mary Ann and Larry are once again united and may she rest in peace.
If you can find time after the healing process we would love to hear from you. We are close by - living in San Marcos, CA.
