"Becky, Corbin and Chad- I'm so sorry for your loss. I have to tell you that Bob was absolutely my hero. For me, Bob was a man with great integrity, intelligence, strength and courage coupled with a fantastic sense of humor. This made him an easy guy to follow and someone I wanted to emulate as a leader. I worked for him for many years in Long Beach and every single day I felt blessed to be around him. He taught me so much about how to be a leader. He promoted me, mentored me and coached me since the first day I met him. Even after I left Long Beach he continued to be a person I could call and lean on when I needed help or advice. He taught me lessons that I apply everyday in my personal and professional life. I dearly miss the way he could communicate with anyone he encountered with such ease and grace. It didn't matter weather you where a CEO or a new hire, he just had a way to make you feel welcome and important. We marveled at his one-liners, which he delivered at the most opportune times. We loved them so much we started to journal them because we couldn't believe how many he could come up with. I think at one time we had documented about 75 "Stangerisms" as we called them. I will truly miss Bob, he was one of a kind, and someone I will never forget. I'm so glad I had the opportunity to know him and to call him my friend. God Bless............Jay"
"Remember Bob when he was recruited into the twin jet D-509 area. Smart guy for not knowing much about aircraft assembly. He knew how to gather information and make people feel good like he really appreciated them. I must admit, many of us were new to aircraft assembly and learning as well. He was a sign of encouragement. at our 515 meetings we would go through the days results. Some good some bad. Bob was always there to help out in any way he could. If a person can be like that in his/her work environment they must have some appreciation of God and what he wanted us to be like. I don't know his religious background but he saw him as a good and spiritual man. The kind of man God makes a place for."
"My condolences go out to the family Rip mr Stanger"

"Bob wasn?t just a great neighbor at the river, he was one of my best friends! My family so enjoyed the time we spent with Bob and Becky, Corbin and Chad. Our families did everything together while at the river?boating, riding in the desert, happy hours with our family and friends, and so much more. I?m devastated and we?ll all miss him. He was truly a special man. ?River Bob? (I called him ?River Bob? to distinguish him from the other Bob?s I know) lived across the street from me and he was always working on something in the garage with the stereo on. When I needed to get his attention, I would yell from across the street ?RIVER BOB!? Well, here?s one last shout out to ?RIVER BOB!? We?ll always remember you and we?ll never forget you."
