"Jon, I was talking with Connie the other day and she told me of your loss. I only met Jorge once and he was just the nicest guy. You two looked to be very committed to each other and I can't tell you how much I wish I could take your pain from you. I want you to know that if there is anything I can do all you have to do is let me know. Jody and I both send our profound love and condolences in your time of loss. Your cousin Mike and Jody"

"Jon,
Our hearts are broken for you. We should never have to endure the loss of those dear to us. Please find comfort in the many memories of the time you shared with Jorge. During the time we spent with the two of you, it was clear that you were in love. It was also clear that you shared a zeal for life. The family, friends, travel, work and home you shared have served as a wonderful backdrop for your relationship. You are in our thoughts and in our hearts.
With deepest sympathy for your loss,
Alfonso and Randy"

"Dear Jon,
Barbara and I are so sorry about Jorge's passing. He was one of the sweetest men we've ever known. We wish we'd had the opportunity to spend more time with the two of you. We send to you our deepest regrets and a soft downy comforter of love to wrap yourself in during these unthinkably painful and bitingly cold times. Stay well and know that you are not alone. Use the comforter; it's a real working metaphor.
With our love,
Dan and Barb"

"Dear Jon,
I am so sad to learn that Jorge is gone. So young. I cannot imagine what you are going through.
Jorge was such a kind man, especially so generous to his relatives. I will keep you both in my prayers.
May you find peace as these difficult days pass.
Laura"
