Carol Lynn Collins

Born March 2, 1956, in Valparaiso, Indiana, Carol Lynn Collins died March 1, 2018, in Glendale, Arizona. She was the daughter of Carol C. and the late Robert E. Moeller, and was raised in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. Carol graduated from the Culinary Institute of America and the University of Minnesota. A dedicated Special Education teacher at Glendale Union High School in Glendale, Arizona, Carol was passionate about serving the children there for the last 20 years. She loved her Savior, Jesus Christ, and applied his loving ways in all she did and with whom all she met.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Roger Collins; her mother Carol Moeller; her brothers Bob H. Moeller (Julie); and Rick K. Moeller (Barbara); her sons Jeff Collins (Kelly), Mike Collins (Beth), and Matt Collins; as well as six grandchildren, along with nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Celebration of Life service for Carol will take place at 1:30 PM on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at All Saints Lutheran Church, 15649 North 7th Street Phoenix, AZ 85022. A light reception will follow there in Fellowship Hall.

I would come into her classroom and, we would have our talks about anything, the school, where we grew up. She is one of the kindest and most generous person i came to know. I'll forever miss her.
