"My sister Becky Dullas and I were very saddened to hear of Orlando''s passing. We offer our deepest sympathies to his family. Orlando's family was very wonderful and welcoming to Becky and I when we were growing up. In fact Orlando was the ringbearer for our parents, George and Eleanor Dullas' wedding. Our hearts are with you."

"To Orlando's family......I'm quite sure you know this already but Orlando was a fantastic guy! Two years ago, I was about to begin my first semester teaching at EMCC. This was actually the first time I had EVER taught a college class and I was scared to death! By the grace of God, our paths crossed. It turned out that Orlando was teaching the same class and had already taught it several times before. Orlando willingly agreed to meet with me on 4 or 5 occasions for several hours at a time to help me prep, set up my assignments, and share materials that he had used previously in class. My first semester would have been a thousand times more difficult and not nearly as successful without Orlando's gracious assistance. Over the past two years Orlando and I became good friends and shared many interests, among them our love of teaching and baseball. Earlier this year, my mother in law became ill and subsequently passed away. I needed a sub for my class and Orlando, again without hesitation, agreed to help me out.
I wanted to share this story with you in person but unfortunately I will be out of town and unable to attend Orlando's Memorial Mass. However, I wanted you to know how Orlando touched my life as I'm sure he has touched the lives of countless others during his time here on earth. I am saddened by Orlando's passing but am confident that his many acts of kindness here on earth have been rewarded already. "May the Angels lead him into Paradise""

"Orlando was one of those rare human beings you meet and felt like you knew him for a lifetime.
I am grateful for the opportunity of knowing him for the last 3 years. Always kind, humble and with a smile.
Even in his passing from this world, he touched my life, teaching me something about life's priorities and that inevitable moment we all have to go thru.
Orlando, may we find ourselves again."
