Elizabeth "Betty" E. Sharp, (nee Kuehner) 87, of Liberty, MO., passed away February 9, 2012, after a long year struggle with emphysema at Pleasant Valley Manor in Pleasant Valley, MO, with family by her side.
Betty was born June 6th, 1924 in Camden, NJ. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry Kuehner and Edna (nee Sullivan).
Betty will be remembered by her brother, Harry (Pete) Kuehner of Deptford, NJ., daughter, Diane Jones of Denver, CO., son Richard Veach and wife Christine of Liberty, MO., grandchildren Megan McDowell and Brendon Jones of Denver, CO., and Ryan Veach and Lauren Veach of Kansas City, MO. Along with spending time with her family Betty loved music, loved to dance and especially enjoyed listening to Frank Sinatra. Betty also spent every Saturday during football season avidly rooting for Notre Dame Football.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass, Tuesday, February 14 at 10am at the St. Joachim Parish, Annunciation BVM Church, 601 W. Browning Road, Bellmawr, NJ. Interment New St. Mary's Cemetery, Bellmawr, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mrs. Sharp's memory to the St. James Catholic Church, 309 South Stewart Road, Liberty, MO, 64068.
