Robert J. Sutton, on February 5, 2020, of Wenonah, born in Plainfield, NJ. Age 74.
Beloved husband of Lenora for 54 years. Devoted father of Melissa Boos (Chris), Cynthia Garland (David) and Shona Sutton. Big Daddy of Warren Robert, Lenora Karen, Grayson and Sawyer. Dear brother of Harry (Karen) and the late Shirley and Edward. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Robert was licensed by the State of NJ, worked as a Water Treatment Operator, and retired in 2007 from Borough of Collingswood after 25 years. He was a member of the Wenonah Presbyterian Church where he was a Deacon and attended Bible Study. Robert loved to read, especially the Bible and religious author Andrew Murray. He was a great family man and loved his vacations to the Outer Banks. Robert loved his cats.
There will be a viewing from 6pm to 8pm on Thursday evening at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE. Funeral Service 8pm. Interment private.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Robert’s name to the Save Our Stained Glass Fund of Wenonah Presbyterian Church. 202 E. Mantua Avenue Wenonah, NJ 08090.
