Walter C. Kurowski

Walter C. Kurowski, on April 26, 2011, of Magnolia. Age 76.


Mr. Kurowski graduated Manual Arts High School with Honors and attended some college. He joined the Army in 1957 and went to Army Signal School at Ft. Monmouth, NJ for radar repair. After being honorably discharged from the Army in 1963, he attended many schools in conjunction with his employment at the Philadelphia Navy Yard, dealing with combat systems and guided missiles at Dam Neck, VA, other schools at Hughes Aircraft in CA and schools in Lakehurst, NJ, completing 25 years of honorable Federal


Service retiring in April 1990. After retirement he pursued his love of photography, being a member of the Moorestown Camera Club. He did many art shows and won many awards. While growing up in Los Angeles, he became a professional ballroom dancer, a member of the Guild and performed in many movies. Recently, he and his wife returned to ballroom dancing, a hobby they both loved.

Mr. Kurowski was a member of Moorestown Camera Club, SJ Organic Garden Club and Master Gardener of SJ.


Beloved husband of 52 years of Barbara (nee Knast). Devoted father of Stephen Kurowski, Linda Fujarski and son-in-law Leonard and Jennifer Allebach and son-in-law Dan. Loving grandfather of Jillian and Bill Redrow, Nicholas Fujarski, Daniel, Felicia and Rebekah Allebach and great-grandson Landen Nicholas Redrow.


There will be a viewing from 6 to 8pm Sunday eve and 8:15 to 9:15am Monday morning at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE. Funeral Mass 10am Monday at Holy Child Parish, St. Teresa's RC Church, Runnemede. Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery, Chews Landing.
