Gary L. Reed was born on January 21, 1947 to his parents, Francis C. and Sarah (Durham) Reed in Pennsauken, NJ. Gary suddenly passed away on September 12, 2010 in Fort Myers, FL.
Gary married his loving wife Deborah on September 29, 1981.
He was a loving husband and wonderful father. He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Deborah (nee Thomson). Devoted father of Stephanie Reed, Tracey Brown, Kelly Evans. Dear brother of Don (Marie) Reed, Dave (Dorothy) Reed, Joyce Reed and Nancy (Charles) Jones. Also surviving are his loving God-son, Steven Brees and many sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, loving nieces and nephews, along with many special friends.
Gary owned and operated his own Transportation Company in South Jersey and continued his love of his career in Cape Coral until 2006. After which he began working at Skyline Elementary as the Head Custodian. Gary was a person who loved life, and people. Happiness to him was helping and joking with everyone around him.
In honor of Gary, a visitation will be held on Sunday evening from 6 to 8pm at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE. Services will be held privately at a later date at the conveniences of the family.
