Charles A. Strawhacker, on September 15, 2014, of Runnemede. Age 87.
Beloved husband of 60 years to Betty I. (nee Rice). Devoted father of Susan Bieg (Thomas) and Robert Strawhacker (Joanne). Loving grandfather of Michael Bieg, Shannon Pacheco, and Brian Vandegrift and dear great grandfather of Alyssa and Logan Pacheco. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Strawhacker proudly served in the US Navy during World War II. He was a member of the Marlton Elks Club Lodge #2514 and served as their treasurer for 20 years. Charles retired from GE after 40 years of service. He enjoyed golfing, gardening, and carpentry.
There will be a viewing from 10am to 11am Friday at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE.
Funeral service 11am at the funeral home. Interment Harleigh Cemetery, Camden.
