Eric J. Schmidt, on April 12, 2011, of Maple Shade, formerly of Cinnaminson, Woodlynne and Runnemede. Age 59.
Beloved father of Jennifer Tisa (Jeffrey) and step father of Alton Amato and Jeffrey Foss. Loving grandfather of Boaz and Bellina Tisa. Dear son of Lee and the late Norman A., Sr. and Marie Schmidt. Loving brother of Norman, Jr. (Nancy), Kevin (Debbie) and Mark (Victoria). Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Eric was a retired Merchantville police officer. He was also a Fire Chief and an EMT volunteer in Woodlynne, a member of the FOP and an aerobic instructor in Cinnaminson and Mt. Laurel. Eric was a Triton High School graduate. He also enjoyed boating.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the viewing Sunday evening from 7 to 9pm and Monday morning from 11:30 to 12:30pm at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE.
Funeral service Monday 12:30pm at the funeral home.
Entombment Harleigh Cemetery Mausoleum, Camden.
