Joseph B. Cecola, “Joe Check”, on March 3, 2020, of Blackwood, NJ; formerly of South Philadelphia, PA. Age 84.
Beloved husband of Rose Cecola (nee Crispaldi) for 59 years. Devoted father of Elisa Giammarino (Michael) and Anthony Cecola (Brenda). Loving Pop of Joshua, Jesse, Dolly, and Brendan. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his sister, Angela “Cookie” Laino.
There will be a viewing from 9am to 11am Saturday morning at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, BELLMAWR, 200 S. Black Horse Pike, Bellmawr, NJ 08031.
Funeral Mass 12 noon at Holy Child Parish, St. Teresa RC Church, Runnemede, NJ 08078.
Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Chews Landing, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joseph’s memory to the American Lung Association, 3001 Gettysburg Road, Camp Hill, PA 17011.
