Robert E. Renton, on August 16, 2013, of Spring Oak Assistant Living, Vineland, formerly of Belford. Age 86.
Beloved husband of the late Winifred (nee Johnson). Devoted father of Marilyn Sanchez, Robert Renton, Jr. (Karen), Wayne Renton (Deborah), Susan Renton-Dice (Paul), Craig Renton (Denise) and the late Glenn Renton. Loving Pop-Pop of Guinevere Rivera (Anthony), Vanessa Sanchez (Sukanta), Dale Renton (Nancy), Alexandra Scott (Chris), and Andrea Renton and great Grandpop of Desiree Renton.
Mr. Renton served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He retired from Sherwin Williams Paint Co. in Newark, NJ after 30 years.
Mr. Renton was a member of Middletown Ramblers Square Dance Club. He was an active member of Christ Church in Middletown, NJ for over 50 years.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation Friday evening, September 13, from 5 to 7pm at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, 126 S. BLACK HORSE PIKE, RUNNEMEDE NJ 08078.
Memorial Service 7pm at funeral home.
Interment 2pm Saturday, September 14, Shoreland Memorial Gardens Cemetery, State Route 35 North, Hazlet, NJ 07730.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mr. Renton's memory to the Alzheimer's Association, 3 Eves Drive, Suite 310, Marlton, NJ 08053.
