Walter N. Carey, Jr., on April 24, 2013, of Bellmawr. Age 71.
Beloved husband of 50 years of Carol R. (nee Zipf). Devoted father of Janice Carey and Debra Carey-DiClementi and her husband Ron. Loving grandfather of Samantha and Anthony DiClementi. Brother of Judy Bogusz.
Mr. Carey was a graduate of St. Joseph's High School Camden, Class of 1959. He was a former coach of Bellmawr Tiger Football and Bellmawr Girls Softball.
Mr. Carey served in the NJ National Guard and was a proud member of American Legion Post 281, Stetser-Lamartine, Chews Landing. He was a retired elevator mechanic for the International Union of Elevator Constructors, Local 5, Phila., PA and NJ State Dept. of Community Affairs, Elevator Safety Unit.
Mr. Carey was an avid sports fan and golfer. He was a former member of Blackwood Country Club and Wedgewood Country Club.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the viewing from 6 to 9pm Sunday eve and 9 to 10am Monday morning at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE.
Funeral Service 10am Monday at the funeral home.
Interment Bethel Cemetery, Hurffville.
