Ethel Faye Koch
January 12, 1935 - April 4, 2011

Ethel "Faye" (nee Martin) Koch, on April 4, 2011, a resident of Glendora for 55 years. Age 76.


Beloved wife of John, Jr. Devoted mother of Deborah Eksterowicz (Bob), Colette Tyler (Ed), Kathy Mackinnon (Dave) and the late John, III. Loving grandmother of Shelley, Bob, Jr., Lauren, Michael, Eddie, John, Jeff, Derek, Kayla, Jamie and John, IV. Great-grandmother of Tommy, Julianna and John, Jr. Dear sister of Sam Steever. Also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.


Mrs. Koch was born in Chincotegue, VA and very proud of it. She was a loving wife and mother. She held many positions in Glendora for both boys and girls. She was treasurer of Gloucester Twp. Royallettes, a baton twirling group, who marched in many parades. She was an assistant Brownie leader and cookie chairwoman for St. Teresa's Girl Scouts. Mrs. Koch was the first secretary for the Glendora Little League Ladies Auxiliary. She later held the position of President for 2 years from 1965 - 1967. Mrs. Koch was also treasurer of Glendora Girls Softball for many years. She coached all levels of Girls Softball for many years from 8 year olds to 18 year olds. She was very proud of her 18 and 0 season. Mrs. Koch was also a member of the Triton Red & Blue Club. She was a former member of Glendora Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary and a former member of St. Teresa's Altar & Rosary Society. Mrs. Koch was a longtime employee of Sears as an assistant cashier, retiring in 1990.


Relatives and friends are invited to attend the viewing from 9 to 11am Friday morning at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE, 126 S. Black Horse Pike, Runnemede.


Funeral Service 11am at the funeral home.


Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery, Chews Landing.


Family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made in Mrs. Koch's memory to St. Teresa's Regional School, 27 E. Evesham Rd., Runnemede, NJ 08078.
