Joseph S. Gliva, on September 19, 2011, of Mt. Ephraim. Age 84.
Beloved husband of Helen R. (nee Saccomanno). Devoted father of Joseph (Denise), Deborah Gliva, Angela McDermott (Mark) and Stephen (Lori). Loving grandfather, who enjoyed spending time with his cherished grandchildren: Christopher, Matthew, Michael, Allison, Emily, Kelsey and Joshua.
Mr. Gliva proudly served his country in the US Navy during WW II on the USS Plunkett (DD-431). He retired from Allied Chemical after over 30 years of service.
There will be a viewing from 7 to 9pm Friday eve and 8:45 to 9:45am Saturday morning at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE.
Funeral Mass 10:30am Saturday at Emmaus Catholic Community, Sacred Heart RC Church, Mt. Ephraim.
Interment St. Joseph Cemetery, Chews Landing.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Salvation Army, 915 Haddon Avenue, Camden, NJ 08103. Please state "In Memory of Joseph S. Gliva" on the donation.
