Clayton Voit

Clayton Voit was born August 27, 1947, at Worthington Hospital, Worthington, MN. He was the son of William John and Margaret (Kopeste) Voit.
Clayton was baptized at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Heron Lake, MN and later confirmed at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Murdock, MN.
Clayton grew up on the family farm in the Heron Lake and Dundee area. Later the family farmed near De Graff and Murdock, MN. He graduated from Murdock High School in 1966. He then studied welding at Ridgewater Technical College in Willmar, Minnesota.
Clayton worked at Fingerhut Corporation in Benson, MN for 9 years and later at the TORO Company in Windom, MN for 22 years.
He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church of Windom where he served as an usher and was member of the Knights of Columbus. He was also a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters of Heron Lake.
Clayton entered Good Samaritan Communities in Windom in February of 2003, where he remained until passing away on his 60th birthday, August 27, 2007.
Clayton is survived by several cousins.
