Peter A. DiGiambattista, Sr., on August 19, 2010, of Bellmawr. Age 67.
Beloved husband of Elaine (nee Imperatore). Devoted father of Peter A., Jr. and his wife Rita and Eileen Gorski and her husband Philip, Sr. Loving grandfather of Peter A., III, Regina K. and Dominic H. DiGiambattista and Philip J., Jr. and Theodore P. Gorski. Dear brother of Maryann Tully (Joe), Patricia DiGiambattista and the late Nicholas. Son-in-law of Norman Imperatore.
Peter was founder of Peter Dee Insurance of Bellmawr. He was instrumental in the formation of the Joint Insurance Fund (JIF). Peter was a current councilman in the Boro of Bellmawr and a member of the Builders League of South Jersey. He was a member of the Runnemede Bellmawr Glendora Rotary Club and past president of IIANJ, Camden and Gloucester. Peter was also a member of the Bellmawr Democrat Club.
There will be a viewing from 6 to 9pm Monday eve and 8 to 9am Tuesday morning at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE. Funeral Mass 10am Tuesday at Annunciation BVM Church, Bellmawr. Interment New St. Mary's Cemetery, Bellmawr.
Family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made in Peter's memory to the CHOP Foundation, 34th & Civic Center Blvd., Philadelphia, PA 19104.
