November 2, 1927 - April 23, 2012
Ray E. Tochterman, on April 23, 2012, of Ocean City, formerly of Runnemede. Age 84.
Beloved husband of Dorothy (nee Garbarino). Devoted father of Donna McGlade (Greg), Alan Pew (Candi), Jeanne Danese (Vince) and the late Pattianne Tochterman. Loving grandfather of Derek, Tiffany, Laureen, Gregory, Rhiannon, Staci and Ryan. Great grandfather of two. Uncle of Chuck and Dave Hall.
Mr. Tochterman was a U.S. Navy veteran. He attended the U.S.S. Leonard F. Mason Ship Conventions.
He was a member of the F.O.P. and the P.B.A. Mr. Tochterman was also a former Runnemede Police Officer and retired as a Lieutenant Detective from the Camden County Prosecutor's Office.
There will be a visitation from 5 to 7pm Friday eve at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE, 126 S. Black Horse Pike, Runnemede.
Memorial Service 7pm at the funeral home.
Interment private.
Family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made in Mr. Tochterman's memory to the Animal Adoption Center, 501 Berlin Rd., North, Lindenwold, NJ 08021 or to the Cape-Atlantic C.A.T.S., 959 Asbury Ave., Ocean City, NJ 08226.
