David J. Williams, on May 12, 2010, of Glendora. Age 89.
Beloved husband of Elizabeth (nee Weber). Devoted father of David Williams (Kathy), Lois D'Alfonso (Ron), Robert Williams (Sarae), Donna Kohler (Tom), Patricia Wilson (Bob) and Martin Williams. Loving Pop of David, Christine, Jennifer, Deanna, Donna, Anthony, Jennifer, Mary, Melissa, Danielle, Renee and Samantha. Great-grandfather of 15.
Mr. Williams served in the Civilian Conservation Corp. in Placerville, CA and served with the US Navy during WW II. He was a charter member and life member of American Legion Post #281 and was a charter member and life member of VFW Post #8714. He was a founding and life member of the Glendora Buck Club and a volunteer member of the Chews Landing Fire Co.
There will be a viewing from 1:15pm to 3pm Saturday afternoon at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE. Funeral service 3pm at the funeral home. Interment private at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to American Legion Post #281 to support youth baseball, PO Box 94, Glendora, NJ 08029 or to VFW Post 8714 to support youth baseball, 11th & Central Avenues, Glendora, NJ 08029 or to Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of America, c/o Gardner Funeral Home, 126 S.
