John S. Placyk, Sr., "Jonathan P. Casey", on August 3, 2010, of The Villas, formerly of Runnemede, age 62.
Loving father of John, Jr. (Lana), Michael (Cristina) and Peter. Beloved grandfather of Willa, John E. and Michael. Devoted brother of Joanne Walsh (Gary). Also survived by the love of his life and soulmate Donna Clark and his feline companion Candy.
Mr. Placyk was a 1962 graduate of St. Teresa Catholic School and a 1966 graduate of Triton Regional High School. "Jonathan" was a radio personality who could be heard over the airwaves on WSNJ for many years. Recently, he could be found entertaining the crowds at the Adelphia Restaurant in Deptford and on Cruisin 92.1 WVLT.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit his family Wednesday evening from 6 to 7pm at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE. Memorial Service 7pm at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in John's memory to the Cohanzick Zoological Society, c/o 181 East Commerce Street, Bridgeton, NJ 08302. Please notate check in memory of Jonathan P. Casey.
