Ann Caroline Belak
February 25, 1928 - August 23, 2010

Ann Caroline Belak (nee Chmiel), died peacefully at Penn-Presbyterian Hospital on Monday, August 23, 2010, after long-time complications from a hip operation.


Ann was born on February 25, 1928 in Moosic, PA. She was a long-time resident of Runnemede and more recently a resident of Silver Care Center in Cherry Hill.


She was a devout and selfless wife of the late Charles S. Belak, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. Ann is survived by sons Charles J. Belak of Oaklyn and James F. Belak (Diane) of Livermore, CA, daughter Joanne R. Belak, grandchildren Carolyn Anne Belak and Brian James Belak of Livermore, CA, brothers Andrew Chmiel of Fairport, NY and George Chmiel of Palmerton, PA and sister Mary Zucosky of Clark.


A viewing will be offered at Gardner Funeral Home, Runnemede from 8:15 - 9:15AM on Saturday, August 28, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Maria Goretti RC Church, Runnemede. Interment Woodbury Memorial Park, Woodbury.


In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa, Ferry Road, P.O. Box 2049, Doylestown, PA 18901.
