Thomas Gillespie, on August 28, 2016, of Turnersville. Age 50.
Precious and beloved son of Shirley Gillespie. Cherished brother of Cynthia Gillespie. Adored Uncle T.T. of Alexzandria. Also survived by his loving cousins, Donna Sica (Eddie) and Michael Frederico, and his best buddies, L.D. Gray (Kerry) and Jimmy Lucas (Judy).
Tom graduated from Audubon High School in 1984. He loved all sports and was a big fan of Nascar's Tony Stewart.
Tom worked as a service advisor for Sears Auto in Deptford for many years. He was well liked and respected by all who knew him.
Tom was a diabetic and had a Neuroleptic Malignant Syndrome on June 20, 2015, from which he never recovered.
There will be a viewing from 7 to 9pm Tuesday evening and from 9:15 to 10:15am Wednesday morning at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE.
Funeral Mass 11am Wednesday at Holy Child Parish, St. Teresa RC Church, 13 E. Evesham Road, Runnemede, NJ.
Interment private at the request of the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Tom's memory to American Diabetes Assoc., 1160 US 22 #103, Bridgewater, NJ 08807 or to Animal Orphanage, 419 Cooper Road, Voorhees, NJ 08043.
