Susanne D. Wilson (nee Corrado), on November 24, 2011, of Laurel Springs, formerly of Westmont, age 88.
Beloved wife of the late Joseph E. Wilson. Loving mother of Joseph E. Wilson, Jr. (Jill) and Susanne Funaro (Ernest). Devoted grandmother of Joseph E., III and Zachary Wilson, Bethann Strom (Ed) and Eva Marie Wolfe (Jeff) and great grandmother of TJ, Marlena, Meredith, Bella, Jackie, Jenna and Jordan. Loving sister of Michael Corrado (Eva), Ann Trapani (Joe), Anthony Corrado, Elizabeth Parker (Charlie) and Margaret Way. Dear Aunt of Lisa Salvo, Dolores Knestaut, Susan Sweeten, Lucia Lawrence, Rosemarie Siwak and many other nieces and nephews. Susanne is also survived by many devoted friends.
She attended St. Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing, Georgetown University and Stockton State College, receiving a BS in Nursing. She worked as a nurse for Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Camden from where she retired after over 35 years of service.
A former parishoner of Holy Savior Parish in Westmont, Susanne taught CCD and was a volunteer with Cathedral Kitchen in Camden.
She will always be remembered as someone who enjoyed caring for all those in need.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass, 10am Monday morning at Our Lady of Hope Parish, St. Agnes RC Church, Blackwood.
Entombment Calvary Mausoleum, Cherry Hill.
